Microelectronic Circuits is now available in a 2026 Oxford Insight course. Oxford Insight pairs best-in-class Oxford University Press content with curated media resources, activities, and gradable assessment, in a guided learning environment that delivers performance analytics, drives student engagement, and improves student outcomes.

Video Examples

These videos walk students step by step through the procedures required to solve some of the most common, and complex, circuits they will have to master. They then provide related problems so that students can apply the strategies they have just learned to comparable circuits.

Pause and Do Video Examples

The course features 72 new videos, embedded throughout the text. These new videos use a "pause and do" format that allows students to test themselves while watching the videos by answering sub-problems within the video.

Engineering Problems Sets

To help students practice and learn, over 200 new auto-graded problem sets are assignable in Oxford Insight. Each time a student accesses a problem, new parameters such as resistor values are generated, creating a unique problem. Students enter their solutions, which are assessed in real time providing valuable feedback to support student learning gains.

Interactive Animations

Six interactive animations help students learn about key concepts. Each figure includes sliders that are used to set important circuit and device parameters.

AI Literacy Module

New to all Oxford Insight courses, the AI Literacy Module is an interactive, video and assessment-driven add-on that assures students apply critical thinking to generative AI content and usage within your course, throughout their education, and into their future careers. Scenario-based activities at the end of the module apply AI Literacy practices to Introduction to Communication learning goals.

Gradebook & Reports

With seamless integration, the Oxford Insight gradebook can sync directly to your LMS. In addition, Oxford Insight offers robust reporting and insights in order to gauge student engagement and performance at any point in the term, giving instructors the ability to spot struggling students early, having meaningful conversations during office hours, and take action to in order to help students succeed.
